College and County - Letting Agents Oxford

Horrible experience with this agency, If you look through the reviews you will notice all the good reviews are from landlords and all the tenant reviews are awful. They only care about their landlords and treat tentants unfairly. In one of our “inspections” we were advised to clean our bannister properly as they had photographed a fly that had died on top of the wood 🤣 Our deposit was taken for absolutely no reason and we were forced to use the deposit protection scheme to intervene. We were also forced to pay £3000 to leave our tenancy a few months early only to find the property is still being used by somebody which we discovered through water bills and bin collections. This is just a warning to any potential tenants I would strongly advise re considering signing a rental agreement with this company I assure you they will not treat you fairly. On the other hand if you are a potential Landlord I can’t recommend them enough they will make you lots of money at the expense of their tenants.

The team (especially Erin) at College and County are professional, kind and helpful. I have enjoyed the whole process of renting from them. I highly recommend them to anybody on the housing market.

I’ve rented a property in St Clements/Cowley from College & County since 2024. There’s a lot of shade thrown at property managers in Oxford. This is not the case for me. I’ve personally found C&C to be extremely attentive and helpful at addressing any issue that comes up. They’re diligent about timely repairs. My property management contact, Alima, is lovely and communicative. I would absolutely recommend C&C. I continue to rent from them because it’s hassle free.
