Northwood - Southampton

We viewed the property we are moving too and met with Kelly who was super helpful, she answered any questions we had and we left feeling very positive. We put an application through and had an answer by the next day! During all the referencing process we’ve worked with Amanda who has been so lovely. Super helpful from the whole team and we couldn’t thank them enough! Would 100% recommend!!

My grandad is kindly acting as our guarantor and he mentioned how friendly Amanda was on the phone. My partner and I are looking forward to moving into our new home!

Myself and my mum went to view the property that I am now renting and Kelly was very professional and provided a lot of information which made me confident that I wanted to rent from Northwood. Amanda arranged all of the financial information. I felt comfortable and informed through the whole process. Cannot thank Amanda from the Southampton branch enough! Literally helped us through everything, any issues, anything we wanted to do with the property etc. Celebrated wins with us like having a baby on the way and just was so accommodating. We have used Northwood for the past two years and we have nothing but kind words to say about Amanda, such a lovely bubbly lady. 🩷

I was initially very happy with Northwoods and their rental valuation etc. They did however suggest that several small DIY type jobs needed doing before tenants could move in. I asked them to arrange this and they told me their contractor would give an estimate. After a week I hadn't received an estimate and Northwoods said they would 'chase' their contractor. Another week passed without an estimate. Having lost 2 weeks potential rent I cancelled Northwoods and went to another agent who produced a quote for the work within 48 hours and then completed the work again within 48 hours. The property was then immediately let. Having failed to get their contractor to quote after a week I'd have thought they'd use an alternative. Which raises suspicions that they only have one unreliable contractor for repairs which would be even worse if a tenant were already in the property and there was a problem.

I’m very pleased with the service that Northwood Southampton provided for renting my property. I’ve dealt with one of they other branches in Bedfordshire for over 14 years and pleased with they brilliant protocols/ systems they have in place. When they initially viewed the property they gave me a list of things to fix for the new tenants which were quite necessary. Within three weeks they found tenants and did the searches and kept me posted of the process. I look forward to the business with them for years to come

Found the properties via rightmove and they responded very quickly! Kelly was amazing and helped accommodate viewings for the flats. Moving into one of the flats next week but so far they have been very helpful and always quick at responding to any enquiries I have!
