We have been looking for a new property to rent, found the one we wanted, and viewed it within a couple of days. We met Marta at the address and from the onset she was very friendly and open to answering any questions we had. We didn't feel rushed around the property, she gave us time to properly look at the place, nothing was to much for her. I like to ask slot of questions, and Marta had an answer for all of them. Then via email afterwards, she helped us all the way through the referencing, right up until everything was given the go ahead, now we are awaiting the tenancy agreement. Marta was fantastic, and we look forward to speaking with her in the future, fingers crossed everything goes okay from now, onwards!

Poor property management and even worse customer service, I would give zero stars if I could. We moved into a property managed by Haart Milton Keynes on 2 July 2026 with our three young children. Within the first week, we started reporting a number of issues with the property. TWO MONTHS later, we were still chasing Haart to get basic problems sorted. The downstairs toilet was unusable because of a leak and blockage. The carpet was in an awful condition — dirty, heavily stained, wrinkled and shrunk, with carpet grippers and sharp door-bar spikes exposed. Our three-year-old son caught his foot on them three separate times. Despite this, we were initially told that we could simply glue the carpet back down ourselves. Thankfully, after repeatedly chasing, the carpet is finally being replaced. The en-suite shower has also been unusable, with the shower door coming off its runners and the shower itself subsequently being found to require further work. There have been issues with the toilet, French doors, windows and other parts of the property too. The frustrating thing isn’t just that things go wrong, we understand that. It’s the way Haart have dealt with the problems. I’ve had to repeatedly chase them for updates and arrange access for contractors. On one occasion, I was told a contractor would arrive in the morning, so I took a full day of unpaid leave from work to accommodate them. They didn’t arrive until the afternoon, meaning I lost a day’s wages for no reason. I’ve also had some extremely poor experiences with the Milton Keynes branch when trying to get through to someone. I called Abbie after repeatedly trying to get an update. When she answered, she said, “Are you the one with the property issues?” I confirmed I was, was put on hold and then the call was disconnected. My most disappointing experience was with Rippon. Rippon was shouting and swearing down the phone and told me, essentially, that if the property wasn’t up to my standards, I should find somewhere else to live. I don’t think that’s an acceptable way to speak to a tenant who is raising genuine concerns about their home, particularly when there are three young children living there. We’ve also had a ridiculous situation regarding a washing machine and fridge-freezer that were left in the property. They weren’t advertised or mentioned to us during the viewing, yet we were told that we should store them ourselves in the garage. We simply don’t need these appliances and shouldn’t be expected to give up our storage space for them. Throughout all of this, we’ve continued to pay our rent in full. We’ve been flexible, allowed contractors access and tried to resolve everything directly with Haart and the landlord. I’m not expecting a perfect house. Things break and problems happen. What I do expect is for a letting agency to take those problems seriously, communicate properly and treat its tenants with respect. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been our experience with Haart Milton Keynes. After everything we’ve experienced, I’ve now had to escalate the matter to senior management and am looking at taking the complaint to the Property Ombudsman. I genuinely would not recommend Haart Milton Keynes. The property issues have been frustrating, but the lack of communication and the way we’ve been spoken to have been far worse.

I was shown my new rented tenancy by Marta, who was very helpful and made the moving process smooth. She was attentive and understood my requirements and made an effort to find a suitable solution. I would highly recommend her customer service to anyone whom may be considered using Haart as their letting agent.
