Frustrating and dishonest check out experience with Daanish upon vacating a rented flat. ETA: Cauldwell’s reply does not address the frustrating & dishonest check out experience I am referring to. Examples include: 1) Daanish intentionally informing me of an incorrect timeframe to attend check out so I could have challenged some of the inaccurate condition ratings in the report in person. 2) Formally stating I had attended the check out in the report when I hadn’t. 3) Failure to provide a thorough breakdown of the cleaning costs to me. The property I was in had disrepair and cleanliness issues from the start. For instance, an oven which was classed as ‘new’ upon check in, though it was full of marks and stains. Cauldwell then tried charging me for an oven clean for an oven that was evidently unclean and used upon check in. Thankfully, I was able to recover some of the cleaning cost back via the DPS which further supports the dishonesty that I am referring to with the entire check out process and experience. Luckily my deposit was protected by them. And to add, the unprofessionalism I experienced from Daanish (plus lack of a fair investigation into this by Darren) occurred when I was heavily pregnant. So take that - plus the honest, lower rated reviews from other previous and prospective tenants - as you will and err on the side of caution. There are many other landlords/letting agents in MK that provide tenants with a fair experience and good customer service!

We just wanted to leave some kind words for Sarah, who was fantastic throughout our purchase process. She played a huge part in getting everything over the line, keeping communication flowing smoothly up and down the chain at every stage, and chasing those pesky solicitors. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and she handled everything professionally, proactively, and with a genuinely helpful attitude. We’re very grateful for all of her support. An absolute rockstar.

One of the most relaible property management services I have dealt with so far. I purchased a BLT property in Milton Keynes through Cauldwell and they have also been managing it for me for about 7 years. They are thorough and professional in whatever they do. They are the best in quickly getting properties back on rent once a tenant has vacated. Daanish Hussain, in particular, has been quite helpful in terms of inventory reports and seamlessly managing tenant move-ins. The agency really knows its stuff. I highly recommend it to landlords.

My experience with Cauldwell was pleasant. Their agent Suzie was always professional and a pleasure to communicate with. She was quick to answer any questions and was even quicker when it came to addressing any issues we encountered at our rental property.
