Any issues I have with the property I let out have been dealt with quickly and efficiently by Cara Douglas.She is a pleasure to deal with.
Leaving tenants without hot water because they have been sick with shingles for 8 weeks and requires a doctor's letter before they can send anyone to the property. Told them I don't have shingles any longer but need a doctor's letter that I can't get until next week due to wait. Don't have money to fix myself due to being sick for 2 months and no wage and paying 6 month rent in advance leaving me with no hot water for days and can take another 8 days to get a doctor's letter. I simply could have left the property and property manager let them in would be the only solution but Niki is happy to have me in this situation stating there is nothing else they can do and it's my choice to have no money to pay for the breakdown of the boiler. Thanks for making my depression worse.
Moved out of my property due to multiple faults not being fixed months after being reported at an inspection. Tried to retain half my deposit after moving out for a cleaning service which is double what other local firms charge. Whenever you call they claim they are unavailable until you say you are happy to hold and all of a sudden they are free to talk. Use of anti-semitic language by staff member when trying to query unjustified deductions from my deposit. Do Not Use
Countrywide (Matthew Baker) was extremely helpful with a difficult situation which required tact and clear advice. Slater Hogg Stirling have also been very helpful regarding the matter. It is very supportive to have a good agent to advise and assist the landlord when things do not run smoothly. Thanks to everyone who helped me resolve the matter , especially to Matthew.
Danielle and the team in the office are 1st class !! I’ve dealt with various letting agents in the past and been let down by most of them . Danielle in particular has a “can do” attitude and always tries her best to help where she can . She’s definitely a strong asset to countrywide and I’ll be sure to recommend countrywide to my friends and family.
