Would not recommend. They sold our student house to a private landlord a few months into the tenancy, meaning the property was handed over from BPS to the private landlord MIDWAY through the tenancy. He turned out to be a real piece of work (his name is Graham Waller) and not to mention the house was not clean and very damp when we first moved in anyway, when it was still under BPS, it was disgusting. We then couldn't get this sorted as it was no longer anything to do with them after the sale was finalised and we no longer had access to their maintenance team. Do not rent a student house with this company!!!!

Living in a house share with BPS was a fantastic experience! My friends and I rented a house together, and the process was smooth from start to finish. The company made it easy to secure the property, and the team was always responsive whenever we needed assistance. The house itself was well-maintained, clean, and fully furnished, which made moving in hassle-free. The kitchen and communal areas were spacious, perfect for cooking and hanging out together. Plus, the bedrooms were a great size, offering enough space for studying and relaxing. One of the biggest perks was the reliable maintenance team—any minor issues were dealt with quickly, ensuring a stress-free living experience. The rent was also fairly priced, especially considering the quality of the house and the great location close to campus and local amenities. Overall, if you're looking for a comfortable, well-managed student house to share with friends, I’d highly recommend BPS ! It made our student experience even better, and this is the reason I decided to use them multiple times during my years at the University Of Sheffield.

I've been with a few firms as a tenant but BPS is the best by far. Really polite, friendly staff who go out of their way to make things run smoothly including repairs, tenant agreements etc. Any issues are usually solved promptly without needing to send numerous follow ups and they're easy to contact too. Very student friendly so 100% recommend :)

So grateful for renting with BPS! They really had our back during emergencies and we could always find someone on the other end of the line to help us with anything we needed. During one of them, Alex Hughes went out of his way to sort out a plumbing issue even though it was the bank holiday. They would always let us know if a contractor was due to visit and fix major issues swiftly. If you are looking for a firm that´s flexible, accommodating and cares about their tenants, go with BPS. Truly the best agents in Sheffield.

Brilliant, realiable firm with a team that truly cares for their tenants. They are great at communication and have gone out of their way to make our stay with them enjoyable, whether that was getting us a lawn mower to take care of our garden, promptly ensuring contractor visits if anything needed fixing or supporting us during emergencies. Alex Hughes especially worked beyond his hours to sort out an emergency that happened during a bank holiday weekend, being available on the phone and rigorously searching to ensure that someone would fix the problem despite the holidays all the while taking care of our needs and ensuring that we were okay. The best renting experience I have had in all my years renting. There is nobody in Sheffield I would recommend more.

I've been with BPS for the 2021-22 academic year, and I believe they are a great company for student housing. The process involved with signing the tenancy was straightforward from start to finish, and any questions or issues we had with this, the staff were always happy to help. Any problems we have had since living in the house have always been dealt with promptly. I know that's there is always someone there to speak to should I need it, and any communications are answered quickly. A great company run by friendly and approachable staff. I would highly recommend BPS to anyone looking for student housing in Sheffield.

I've been with a lot of agencies during my time as a student and most of them are absolutely terrible but I have no complaints with BPS. The small amount of issues we've had with our house they've quickly came out and fixed. They kept us up to date about our house renovations before we moved in and even sent us pictures; we didn't even have to ask!
