We have just completed the save of our house with Spencer estate agents. They have been fantastic throughout the process, and have been responsive and communicated well. We are very happy to recommend their services and would choose to use them again when we need to. Olivia is an absolute superstar!

Extremely helpful and very kind. Even after we made a mistake and needed to go back on an offer, Spencer offered our Holding deposit back even though they didn't need to. Lynn was particularly helpful.

I'm writing this review in an attempt to stop any prospective renters sharing our misfortune. Our experience renting a property in Sheffield from Spencers has been very frustrating and landlord favoured. A leak in the bathroom which was reported promptly took over 8 weeks to be resolved, during which time we had to consistently chase for a plumber to attend. We ended up having to isolate our water supply to the bathroom and paying an extra ~£150 in wasted water bills. The landlord has offered us £35 in compensation, provided incorrect maths to justify it and is refusing to acknowledge his poor calculation skills. I dread to think what it will be like when we try to get our deposit back. The staff are friendly enough, but you will not have any joy if something goes wrong during your tenancy and the burden will be on you to chase them to get any issues addressed. I would advise going elsewhere.

The team at Spencers made the whole process of selling our house run really smoothly. From the first valuation appointment to handing over the keys we received a very professional but personable service. They handled all our viewings and we got excellent feedback and lots of offers. Hoping we don’t move again but if we do, we would use Spencer’s again.
