I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Haus was genuinely disappointing. My issue is not that I didn't get the property. The vendor is, of course, entitled to sell to whoever they choose. My concern is with how the process was handled. From the beginning, communication was poor. Despite repeatedly asking to speak with the negotiator by phone, WhatsApp or another platform, I never managed to have a single conversation with her. I called the office on multiple occasions but was told she was unavailable, and no meaningful alternative was offered. I was a committed cash buyer with my finances in place and was ready to proceed immediately. Haus later confirmed that I had submitted the highest cash offer, yet I was never given the opportunity to have even a brief conversation with the negotiator before the property was sold elsewhere. I had also been advised that submitting an offer would allow the next steps to be discussed with the seller, but that discussion never happened. After raising my concerns with the branch manager, I received a response defending the process, but it did not address my main concern: why a committed cash buyer with the highest cash offer was never given the opportunity to discuss the property or respond before the sale was agreed. Buying a home is one of the biggest purchases people make, and I expected far better communication and a more professional, proactive service than I received. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not recommend Haus.

Haus came highly recommended and has exceeded all expectations. It really has been a first class experience from my very first call right through to completing the move; everyone I spoke to went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. A special thank you to Maddy Wall, who was so friendly, professional, proactive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. It has been an end-to-end positive experience and I don't hesitate to recommend Haus.

We have used Haus a few times over the years and more recently they have helped us with a house sale which was challenging to say the least. There used to be an advert for a famous lager … in our opinion Haus are probably the Worlds best Estate Agent … and Definitely the best by a mile in Sheffield . Brilliant at communicating, fantastic at keeping you up to date , always pleasant & nothing was to much trouble , we cannot fault the service . We loved the portal, which made the process so much smoother and more pleasant: no unnecessary communications or chasing, it was updated in real time and we could check it when it suited us.
