Northwood Leeds

Absolute nightmare dealing with this agent. We had an offer provisionally accepted on a property, until we provided proof of finances. Once we did we were told to progress with instructing our solicitors, paid for the survey, and were moving forward in good faith. While the seller was abroad that this would just be a ‘formality’. Out of nowhere, we were dropped because they allowed a bidding war at the eleventh hour. While I understand the legalities of gazumping before contracts are signed, a reputable estate agent is supposed to act with a shred of professional ethics. Instead, this team actively encouraged a bidding war after terms were agreed upon, completely blinding us and chasing a marginally higher commission at our expense. They showed zero integrity, terrible communication, and absolutely no respect for the time and money we already invested. If you want an agent that honours their word and handles transactions with transparency, look elsewhere. They will drop you the second a shiny new offer comes along. Thankfully they refunded our ID checks.

I found that the staff at Northwood were efficient, friendly and very helpful. The house was sold in 5 days and therefore the sale was not stressful. I have recommended them to other people.

We had a bit of a mixed experience overall, as the property didn’t sell within the ambitious timescales that were initially predicted. However, the service we received from specific team members made a huge difference to our experience and perception of Northwood. We had an excellent experience dealing with Rebecca and Charlotte. Both were professional, personable, and consistently went above and beyond to support us. I was particularly impressed with Rebecca, whose enthusiasm and drive were unmatched. She pulled out all the stops and worked incredibly hard to sell our house.

Was a long slow process due to the buyer slow responding and creating new hurdles. Didnt find solicitor very proactive but Charlotte at Northwood was fantastic and was attentive and patient with my continuos chasing and did everything in her grasp to get things moving. Have been a renter for many years, have rented all over the country. Northwood by far the best estate agents/ property managers. Renting application was straightforward and smooth, got into the property quickly. Stayed in the property around 1.5 years and every single maintenance issue was dealt with promptly. It would literally be fixed within 1-2 days. Great communication they always respond quickly via email and always answer the phone. Literally cannot fault them. Checkout process was also smooth and got full deposit back, no nitpicking like other EAs do. Fantastic company.

The best estate agency experience in Leeds​! Northwood Leeds is easily the most professional agency I’ve dealt with in Leeds. Their system is fantastic, from easy digital bookings and helpful reminders to the detailed property brochures sent before you even arrive. They make the offer process very clear, which helps you move fast as a buyer. ​Rebecca was brilliant; she handled the communication between myself and the vendor with great timing and professionalism. She made the next stages of the process very clear before handing me over to the sales progression team. Highly recommend!

Used Northwood for my house sale. Adam was great with the marketing and viewings he kept me updated throughout . Charlotte took over once we accepted an offer. Charlotte was amazing when the first sale fell through and helped re-market with a positive outcome. She kept in touch and pushed to get the completion needed. Would recommend.
