Will not allow two women to house share despite allowing us to view our perfect property and knowing our situation. When we booked the viewing, the agent went to confirm if house share was allowed and we were informed it was absolutely fine. Their policy only allows family or couples. We also told them we had pets and was told no extra cost would be added. This is not the case and they charge £50 per animal, including the fish! These were only told to us after a viewing and when we tried to put our application forward. Very disappointed at the lack of correct information provided to us. A waste of time, plus money loss due to weekday viewing.

I am very pleased with the quick and professional approach shown by Julian Marks Estate Agents of Plymouth. They marketed and sold my late Mother's house for the full asking price within a couple of weeks of listing. We had a great experience with Julian Marks purchasing our home as first time buyers. Jon Hearn in particular deserves a special mention, who dealt with the majority of the communication throughout the transaction and provided us with excellent advice and a professional service as we navigated our way through. We would definitely use Julian Marks in the future when we come to sell our property & would recommend to other first time buyers!

What an utterly disappointing experience. From the beginning: Property details online where missing words, written poorly and did not contain all measurements. We literally had to re-write them. During the sales process, very little guidance and support was offered. Feedback was not useful in any way to help us. None of the agents learnt a single thing about our property. We were simply a number to them. After we finally did get an offer accepted, Jon, the apparent sales chaser contacted us once in the 4 months from sale to completion and took over 24 hours to respond to any communication from us. This was probably the worst part of the experience. I would recommend everyone stay away from these guys and use an agent with a better understanding of the sales process and with a better team to support you through that process. It is a stressful time in general moving house and without the help of a good agent you will be left to your own devises.
