What customers say
Based on genuine customer reviews
Property investment, property management and surveying are the commercial services offered by this Aberdeen firm. One account of its former residential factoring work describes problems going unresolved. A leak that left a large hole in a hallway ceiling is said to have taken roughly a year to repair, and on another occasion a fire alarm rang for a full day without any fire.
Only this company held the key to silence it, yet staff in the Aberdeen office could not be reached, and someone from another office eventually dealt with the matter. The experience centres on slow responses and a lack of follow-through when building issues are reported, a reminder of how much prompt attention matters in property management.

They were our residential factors (they have since sold that part of the business) and they literally did nothing. One time a leak left a gaping hole in the hallway ceiling which they took a year to fix. Another time a fire alarm went off for a whole day - there was no fire, but only FG Burnett had the key to turn the alarm off, and no one in their Aberdeen office could be reached to come and turn it off. Eventually someone from their office in Edinburgh drove up and turned it off. Also was impossible to get a reply to questions. Basically they accepted money and performed no services. Should be illegal really - if it was a sole trader I'm sure it would be, but when it's a big company...
